Job summary

Danos seeks a licensed Deepwater Crane Operator to safely operate and maintain cranes on our offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico, based in Houma, LA.

You will follow hand signals, inspect equipment, lead riggers, and ensure safe lifting in challenging sea conditions; 5+ years offshore crane experience and Crane Operator Certification are required.

Seatrax experience and deepwater operating background are preferred, with mechanical aptitude a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years offshore crane operating experience.
• Crane Operator Certification required.
• Seatrax crane experience preferred.
• Deepwater operating experience preferred.
• Mechanical experience or aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.
• Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.
• Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.
• Maintain and clean crane equipment.
• Provide leadership to construction riggers.
• Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.
