Job summary

The position may involve supervising staff and adapting duties to client requirements. Candidates must be able to work long hours on rotation, typically up to 28 days or longer, with on-site duties and handling outdoor kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore cooking and meal preparation per standard recipes.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff or a team is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate food prep under production guidelines.
• Proficient in basic food prep and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise daily kitchen activities and staff.
• Train staff on recipes, food safety, and sanitation.
• Cook and prepare food using standardized recipes.
• Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring and chopping.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Operate ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook with diverse methods for meats, vegetables, etc.
