Job summary

The Edison Chouest Offshore family of companies is seeking a crane/winch mechanic for offshore service in Louisiana. You will provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance, and perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.

You will read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service. This role requires travel, US work authorization, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of basic and specialty tools and test instruments
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Decision-making and troubleshooting abilities
• Understand ship repair/building industry legal and commercial requirements
• Planned and unplanned travel
• US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled equipment repairs and scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
