Job summary

Bristow Group in Houma, LA is seeking an A&P Field-Based Helicopter Aviation Maintenance Technician to keep S-92, AW139, and AW189 aircraft in safe, airworthy condition for offshore operations.

You will inspect, repair, and modify rotor-wing aircraft, coordinate with Lead AMT and pilots, manage parts and records, and work under Part 135 regulations to support Gulf of America offshore services.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication essential.
• Strong judgment and objective decision-making.
• Proficient in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair.
• Thorough knowledge of the General Operations Manual, OPS Specs, and relevant information.
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft to ensure airworthiness and compliance with Part 135 and Bristow procedures.
• Coordinate with Lead AMT and pilots for maintenance planning and downtime.
• Inspect, maintain, modify, and repair rotor-wing aircraft including airframe and engines.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities with the Lead AMT considering workflow and parts availability.
• Maintain aircraft records, logs, and FAA documentation per 14 CFR Part 135 and company policy.
• Manage parts, materials, and Ground Support Equipment as required.
