Job summary

Bristow Group, Inc. is seeking 135 Aviation Maintenance Technicians to support offshore oil and gas operations. You will maintain rotorcraft to airworthy standards, perform inspections, and coordinate with flight crews to ensure safe operations.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license with rotorcraft experience, be willing to travel internationally, and work a 28x28 rotational schedule with housing, per diem and other contract benefits.

Qualifications

  • FAA A&P license required.
  • Rotorcraft maintenance experience (2+ years) required.
  • AW139 qualifications/training preferred.
  • Must be able to travel internationally.
  • MS Office Suite and basic computer programs experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Accomplish all work per policies, procedures and manuals.
  • Maintain aircraft to airworthy and cosmetic standards.
  • Sign, record and take responsibility for all work performed.
  • Maintain alertness to unsafe or hazardous practices.
  • Report hazardous practices and equipment to Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician.
  • Perform inspections on incoming parts and stock transfers as needed.
  • Utilize company tools, parts, equipment and materials efficiently.

Job description

Applications are now being accepted for 135 Aviation Maintenance Technicians to provide support to the offshore oil & gas industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accomplishing all work assigned to him/her in accordance with policies, procedures and specifications as set forth in the Company's and the manufacturers' manuals.
  • Ensuring all aircraft are maintained to the highest airworthy and cosmetic standards and always reflect company standards.
  • Signing, recording and assuming responsibility for all work he/she performs.
  • Maintaining an attitude of alertness concerning possible unsafe or hazardous practices by him/her or other personnel which might be injurious to personnel or property.
  • Reporting all hazardous practices and equipment to his/her Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician.
  • Performing proficient and timely receiving inspections on incoming direct ship parts, stock transfer receipts and core parts handling when at a base without supply personnel.
  • Using all Company tools, parts, equipment, and materials properly and efficiently.
  • Communicating daily with the assigned flight crews with respect to the aircraft condition and ongoing maintenance to ensure the highest level of teamwork and visibility is achieved.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area to include personal and shop equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean work area during and after all job functions;
  • Providing on-the-job instruction and supervision of personnel assigned to assist him/her.
  • Staying current on manual changes, policy changes and rules concerning general conduct; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid FAA A&P license required.
  • Minimum of two years' rotorcraft maintenance experience required.
  • Must possess AW139 qualifications/training
  • Must be able to operate MS Office Suite and Some Web-Based Computer Programs, (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
  • Must be available to work overtime as required;
  • Must be able to travel internationally as required;
  • Must possess or be able to possess a valid Passport;
  • Previous training or experience with company specific airframes preferred;
  • Must be able to operate MS Office Suite and Some Web-Based Computer Programs, (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
  • Previous Avionics or Sheet metal experience a plus;
  • Must be detail orientate, fast learner, and be a self-starter.
