Job summary

Gannett Publishing Services / USA TODAY CO in Knoxville, TN seeks a press operator apprentice. You will set up and run the offset web press, learn routine maintenance, and keep the press clean between runs, working collaboratively with the press crew.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of offset web press experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and follow English instructions. Shift flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years offset web press experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work varying shifts according to business needs.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret press layout and web leads.
• Make ready and operate offset web press.
• Monitor printed products and adjust for quality during runs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Clean press after production run.
