Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control; office practice and procedure.
• Skill in using email and word processing; dictation.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form; perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Operate offset printing press and load ink and paper for county publications.
• Perform test runs to ensure registration and color overlay are correct.
• Print requested number of publications to stated specifications.
• Perform pre-press functions and create strips for printing plates.
• Operate bindery equipment (fold, perforate, score, cut, bind).
• Maintain job records, move stocks, and perform routine cleaning of press and bindery equipment.
• Maintain supply of chemicals and paper stock; perform maintenance of printing materials.
