Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid North Carolina Drivers license but is not required to have a commercial drivers license (CDL).
• 1 to 3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Climb on, over and around a company vehicle to perform pre/post trip inspections and secure loads.
• Lift truck hoods, product or equipment to perform inspection, loading and unloading.
• Support and assist shop personnel with repairs.
• Wash trucks and clean cabs; maintain vehicle exterior and interior.
• Operate the vehicle safely, legally and courteously at all times.
• Maintain logs and documentation required by regulations or the company.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
• Read road signs and follow written or verbal directions.
• Maintain communication with managers via radio, GPS or telephone.
