Kettering Health is seeking a POLICE & SECURITY officer at their flagship hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in security, demonstrate effective communication skills, and manage crisis situations. Responsibilities include incident investigation, maintaining security standards, and handling public interactions.

Experience:
+ Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
+ Good communication skills, both oral and written
+ Ability to deal with and to communicate tactfully and effectively all people under stressful circumstances.
+ Ability to meet the standards established by the Medical Center.
+ Ability to learn and operate computers, computer based dispatching and report writing, and operate proprietary central fire system and/or other computer based systems when needed.
+ Has knowledge of principles and methods of maintaining building and ground security.
+ Ability to investigate incidents fully dealing with victims, witnesses and suspects in a tactful manner, and filing a thorough report of the incident.
+ Ability to handle money transactions.
+ Ability to accept change and constructive criticism
Minimum one-year experience in security and public contact preferred.
+ Experience in crisis intervention and evaluation preferred
