Office Technicians perform a variety of difficult clerical duties in support of their assigned program area.
** These positions work around inmates and will speak with inmates on a regular basis. **
Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
Individuals eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

California State Prison-Sacramento is a high-security male institution located in Folsom, CA. Employees may need to be in close proximity to inmates and visit various areas within secured housing units.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified before interview or appointment. Education proof such as unofficial transcripts or diplomas must be included if qualifying through education. Official transcripts may be required upon appointment. Applicants not meeting Minimum Qualifications will be ineligible.
All new applicants to CDCR or DJJ must undergo background investigation, Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment, with annual testing thereafter.
