Une institution de santé de premier plan recherche un superviseur pour les activités de son laboratoire. Ce poste implique la gestion du personnel de bureau, la transcription de documents confidentiels et le soutien à l'administration. Le candidat idéal a une formation appropriée et une solide expérience en supervision, avec des compétences techniques en terminologie chirurgicale.
Responsible for supervising the activities of the laboratory clerical/office staff and processing related paperwork, as well as performing a variety of secretarial duties related to the administration and smooth operation of the laboratory office. Organizes, trains, and leads clerical staff at both campuses. Acts as a confidential secretary to the Medical Director, Director, and Manager. Transcribes confidential reports related to the pathological examination using a computer word processing program and a laboratory information system.
Education/Training: Associate’s degree required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience: At least three (3) years prior experience in a front office or clerical function, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of surgical pathology terminology is required. Must be able to transcribe reports containing complex surgical pathology terminology. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Typing 60 WPM is essential.
