A leading city office is seeking an Office Supervisor - Data Analyst to manage the Building Department Office. The role involves supervising office operations, managing databases, and developing policies. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and significant experience in administrative management.

DUTIES: Under the direction of the Chief Building Official or designee, is responsible for the management and administration of the Building Department Office, including but not limited to the supervision, organization and coordination of assigned office operations, procedures and resources to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Manages high-level administrative and varied activities involves coordinating, planning and directing services that support the running of the Building Department Office. Manages department databases, prepares departmental performance reports, analyzes department data, develops policies and procedures regarding data retention, and assists with implementation of new software related to application filing and permit issuance, data collection and retention and other technology initiatives. Performs related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor ’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative management or other relevant field which includes at least two (2) years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: At time of appointment, possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will be no written examination. Candidates will be evaluated based on education, Knowledge & Experience.
