Baptist Nassau is seeking a Patient Transporter/Office Specialist to join our Nassau facility. This part-time role involves welcoming patients, assisting with registration and scheduling, performing clerical duties, and safely transporting patients throughout the hospital.

You will play a key part in delivering a positive patient experience while supporting efficient hospital operations, requiring strong communication and a compassionate, professional approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and families.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry and answering phones.
• Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds.
• Maintain transport equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and hospital staff.
• Protect patient confidentiality and deliver courteous service.
