Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner, following physician orders and assisting with procedures when needed.

Responsibilities include administering injections, performing phlebotomy, taking patient calls, coordinating appointments, stocking and cleaning exam rooms, and assisting the physician with patient care as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None.
• Substitutable Education & Experience: None.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina; Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assists physician with orders and procedures; administers injections and performs phlebotomy as needed.
• Takes patient calls, coordinates scheduling, and maintains exam room readiness.
• Manages communications, triage by phone, and documents medical records accurately.
• Provides leadership and guidance in clinical policies and procedures.
