Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are actively looking for an Onsite Project Engineer to become a part of our team. This position requires four years of experience to guarantee the precise and timely coordination of project documentation and information among the project team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in document management and database systems

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the effective flow and coordination of paperwork and project information across the project team
• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly construction reports to the Project Manager and CMTSS (Principal) Program Manager
• Log, route, and manage all submittals, including:
  • Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Change documents
  • Cost estimates
  • Daily QA and Safety Reports
• Ensure all incoming documentation is logged and distributed within 48 hours
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard-copy project files
• Manage and update project databases, including:
  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Change Orders
  • Issue Logs
  • Non-Compliance Notices
• Maintain all electronic documents on a shared network drive in accordance with document control standards
• Verify that contractors are meeting submittal deliverable requirements per contract specifications
• Ensure submittal registers are accurate and updated in real time
• Support submittal and specification review processes
• Complete, accurate, and timely project documentation
• Fully maintain project files and databases at all times
