Job summary

Belmont University’s Office of Study Abroad is seeking an Ongoing Events Ambassador to support programming for fall and spring semesters. This student employee role is hourly, with a rate of $7.25, and requires active enrollment.

You will help staff and promote study abroad events such as Study Abroad Amazing Race, information sessions, and weekly Global Bruin events. Must participate in at least two events and have participated in a Belmont Abroad program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing Events Ambassador.
  • Coordinate events that recur each fall and spring.
  • Support Study Abroad Amazing Race and information sessions.
  • Present Lumos and Global Bruin events.
  • Attend at least two OSA events (Preview Day, Be Belmont Day, Cafeteria Table Management).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ongoing Events Ambassador

  • Responsible for programming that will continuously happen during the fall and spring semesters such as:

  • Study Abroad Amazing Race

  • Information Sessions

  • Lumos Presentations

  • Global Bruin Events (every week on Wednesdays from 10am - 10:50am)

  • Parent Weekend

  • Wellness Fair

  • Bold Leadership Fair


Must attend at least TWO ongoing events hosted by OSA such as Preview Day, Be Belmont Day, and Cafeteria Table Management



Required Qualifications

Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Specify if the student must be a particular major or particular year in school.


Required Experience Must have participated in a Belmont Abroad program.
