Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Office Nurse - 24 HRS. - ENT / Exeter, NH to join our growing team. The role provides high quality professional patient care in a physician's office and supports clinical staff.

The RN will perform triage, assist in examinations, manage patient intake, document accurately, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe and effective care. NH licensure and BLS within 6 months are required; on-site, weekday shifts with some flexibility.

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities

• a. Performs administrative duties as needed, i.e. assists in answering the telephone, filing, chart maintenance, scheduling, etc.
• b. May be assigned to coordinate and train new clinical staff.
• c. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, and consults with the physician and other specialists as required to ensure optimal patient care. May provide patient /family education and counseling including to include chronic disease management and medicare wellness visits.
• d. Purchases and maintains appropriate amount of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with CORE’s policies. Ensures all medical equipment is functioning properly at all times.
• e. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in services, meetings and workshops.
• f. Provides patient/family education and counseling and maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patient and family including assurance and support
• g. May manage INRs, with additional training provided by Core
• h. Monitors and ensures accuracy of nursing documentation on patient medical record. Completes patient intakes and updates care guidelines to ensure gaps in care are closed.
• i. Maintains established CORE and federal regulated policies and procedures, objectives, patient confidentiality, quality improvement programs, safety/environment of care programs and infection control standards.
• j. All other duties as assigned.

Education

Accredited RN Program -

License and Certification

• RN license - NH or other Compact State
• BLS within 6 months of hire

Pay Range:

$32.30 - $52.79

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
