We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Office Manager / Staff Officer to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

The employee will independently perform a wide range of functions requiring vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining, and supporting policy implementation. Key skills include problem identification, analysis, and resolution, with a focus on working from an agency perspective. The role involves providing general or specialized administrative support to customer offices and programs, developing pertinent information, and supporting communication to varied audiences through briefings, read-aheads, meeting minutes, and other materials.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Manage daily operations, schedules, calendars, and develop, prepare, and report on strategic communication and program plans, including task management and travel arrangements for the Director and Deputy Director.
  2. Support communication efforts by researching, advising, updating, and implementing strategies to educate the workforce. This includes scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and coordinating events.
  3. Research and analyze information to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  4. Prepare and distribute briefing and read-ahead materials.
  5. Maintain office supplies, initiate equipment trouble tickets, coordinate office moves.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 11 years of experience with front office responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in management or science fields, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in following instructions, meeting deadlines, and completing administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency with office administrative processes and PC software, including data gathering and critical thinking.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the customer organization, including directorates, offices, and programs.
  • Ability to support administrative activities and scheduling for corporate events.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Operate a computer and office machinery regularly.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.
