Job summary

United Fidelity Bank is seeking a Branch Office Manager I to oversee daily branch operations in Shelbyville, IN, coaching staff and driving deposit and loan growth.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in a business-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of direct banking experience required. Direct supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the branch.
  • Develop new deposit and loan business and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Provide coaching, support, and training for branch personnel.
  • Perform a wide variety of customer service transactions and duties.
  • Manage all customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Be proficient with banking products and services.
  • Open new accounts for consumers and business customers.
  • Discuss and assist business customers with Treasury Management services.
  • Originate consumer loans.
  • Cross-sell additional UFB services/products.
  • Manage and track branch referral program.
  • Prepare and/or manage completion of various branch reports.
  • Supervise vault operations, audits, and maintain appropriate cash limits.
  • Perform teller duties as needed.
  • Oversee branch schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate risk including compliance, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Represent the organization positively and promote CRA efforts in the community.
  • Meet assigned individual and branch goals – deposit & loan growth, fee income & fee income waivers, cash levels, over/short, etc.
  • Perform all duties in relation to the Bank Secrecy Act under guidance of the BSA Officer.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

Physical Requirements

The associate is frequently required to sit and/or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools, or controls typical of an office/bank environment. Lifting items up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc. Weekend and evening work will be required.

Working Conditions

Typical office environment. Extended viewing of computer screens. 40+ hours a week, Saturday rotation required. Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation

Minimum Wage: $50,000 annually. Maximum Wage: $55,000 annually.
