Hybron, an early-stage advanced manufacturing startup, seeks an in-person Office & Facilities Generalist in Hawthorne. You will manage vendors, supplies, shipping, and visitors while supporting the CEO and leadership with calendars, travel, and meetings.
You’ll also handle onboarding, events, and company-wide admin tasks to keep the team productive. The role requires autonomy in a fast-growing startup, discretion handling sensitive information, and strong organizational skills.
Hybron is an advanced manufacturing company that is building lightweight composites at mass production scale. At Hybron, we have pioneered a new composites manufacturing process that enables complex, high-performance composite parts to be produced 10-100 times faster than traditional manufacturing, at a fraction of the cost.
We recently closed an oversubscribed $25M seed round, are backed by the Northrop Grumman Technology Accelerator, and are rapidly growing to commercialize and mass produce composite products at a scale never seen before. Our current focus is applying our proprietary process to composite artillery shells, solid rocket motor nozzles, gas turbine engine components, and airframes.
If you want to join a rapidly growing company working on cutting edge composites technology while building capabilities for the warfighter and reshoring U.S. manufacturing, then we want to speak with you.
This is a full-time, in-person role at our Hawthorne facility. As you will be working at an early-stage deep tech startup, this role will span many different tasks. Along with these high expectations comes the opportunity to significantly influence the development, strategy, and trajectory of a fast-growing startup company. Your work will tangibly impact our company and the composites industry, and you will be able to make rapid professional gains in an environment that encourages growth and innovation.
This is a hands-on role. About half of your time will go to running the office and facility: vendors, supplies, visitors, shipping & receiving, and the systems that keep a growing, security-conscious team productive and compliant. The other half goes to supporting our leadership team: calendars, travel, reservations, expense reports, meetings, notes, filings and the details that let them stay focused on customers, investors, and the team. You'll report to our CEO and work closely with our leadership team. You'll also support the company as a whole with company-sponsored events and swag, as well as people functions such as onboarding and offboarding.
This role requires a high-trust, self-starting generalist. You are a great fit if you can operate with autonomy in high-energy, fast-growing companies, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are great at juggling several responsibilities. You excel in prioritizing the important things, and are able to protect focus time on executives' calendars. If you are highly organized, discreet, and calm under pressure, who take ownership and enjoy building systems in a fast-moving startup, we want you.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
