Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Job Overview

The Office Manager will oversee the administrative functions of the Edgewater/Owings office.

Status and Supervisory Responsibilities

Full-time/Exempt. Oversees daily office activities, including staff management, discipline, and staff coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and discipline.
  • Coordinate with HR on employee relations issues.
  • Provide clerical support, including answering phones and document preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulations.
  • Manage petty cash and office supplies.
  • Maintain and organize office files and records.
  • Oversee maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and coverage.
  • Oversee billing corrections and patient file accuracy.
  • Handle basic EMR issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical office practices, HIPAA, OSHA.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of medical administrative experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Sitting at a desk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Willing to travel to other locations as needed.
