A leading organization in Catholic education is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the Superintendent and manage daily operations for the Department of Catholic Schools. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication, ready to oversee office functions while maintaining confidentiality. This role plays a vital part in supporting the educational mission across 24 schools within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
The Office Manager for the Department of Catholic Schools serves as a vital administrative professional, providing comprehensive support to the Superintendent of Catholic Schools and the Department of Catholic Schools in its mission to oversee and support the 24 Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston
This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. The office manager will manage daily operations.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
2-3 years experience in an office manager setting
Preferred school and/or office experience
Proficient with office software; Microsoft Suite, Google Suite
Ability to follow direction and work well with others
Ability to work independently and be self-starting as the supervisors/directors travel regularly.
