The Business Manager at Sonrava is responsible for running and perpetuating a productive, efficient, and engaged dental practice. At the core of your dedication is supporting the doctors, the Director of Operations (DO), and the office staff to develop the practice while developing a successful and positive team.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Support company standards while effectively building and nurturing a positive working relationship with the doctor(s).
- Provide exceptional customer service by making the patient the #1 priority!
- Manage, train, and oversee our office staff team members.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals in our corporate and operations management teams.
- Work with analytical and financial data, including budgets, financial plans, and reports.
- Utilize information systems tools and reports.
- Exercise good judgment and work well with team members, patients, and management.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Show enthusiasm for continuously improving the company’s business.
- Lead local marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and new patient growth.
- Be energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Be comfortable in both leadership and team-player roles.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.
Skills and Abilities:
- 3-5 years of leadership/management experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred.
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
- Professionalism and integrity, including good communication skills.
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including conflict resolution.
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent judgments.
- Capable of multitasking and remaining calm under pressure.
- Proficient with computers and quick to learn new programs.
Work Environment and Conditions
- Overtime as approved by DO.
- Travel for training and job functions as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks.
- Potential for prolonged sitting and standing.
