Job description


Our client, a boutique private equity firm located in Midtown is looking for an Office Manager to oversee and provide support to the entire office. This person will ideally be out of another PE firm and have experience juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities. This person must have a calm demeanor and ability to handle stressful situations. An approachable demeanor is a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, addressing and resolving any service issues
  • Manage vendor contracts, including negotiation and ongoing relationship maintenance
  • Maintain inventory levels and handle procurement of pantry and office supplies
  • Collaborate with IT support to ensure office technology needs are met and maintained
  • Manage onboarding including preparing workstations and equipment
  • Oversee PTO for administrative team
  • Provide administrative support to executives or partners, such as calendar management, travel booking, and expense reporting
  • Coordinate investor or client visits, ensuring a polished, professional experience

REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Composed and professional under pressure, especially when managing tight deadlines or shifting priorities
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a knack for efficiently managing concurrent short-term projects
  • Strong interest in maintaining structured systems and improving office processes
  • Personable, approachable, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative team environment
SALARY
Up to $125K base + discretionary bonus

HOURS
8:30am-5:30pm + flexibility for OT as needed

5x a week in-person
