Job description

eNGENE (NASDAQ: ENGN) is a late-stage biotechnology company specializing in genetic medicines, focusing on delivering therapeutics to mucosal tissues and other organs. Its lead product candidate, detalimogene voraplasmid, is currently being evaluated in a pivotal study for patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) with carcinoma in situ (Cis) who are unresponsive to BCG. This product was developed using enGene’s proprietary Dually Derivatized Oligochitosan (DDX) platform, which allows for the penetration of mucosal tissues and the delivery of various sizes and types of cargo, including DNA and RNA. Role

An experienced and dynamic administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Detail-oriented and proactive, you can manage multiple tasks efficiently and build strong relationships within the organization. This position reports to the Chief Global Commercialization Officer and provides administrative support to her and the Commercialization team. Additionally, this role oversees office management at enGene’s Boston Headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily schedules to ensure executives can fulfill their obligations efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including team meetings, full staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-site meetings, and one-on-one sessions.
  • Understand team and executive priorities to manage calendars effectively.
  • Provide backup support to other administrative team members during vacations or absences, including calendar management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
  • Assist with expense reports.

Office Management

  • Anticipate business needs, initiate actions, and ensure the office is well-organized and fully operational.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including shipments and deliveries.
  • Manage office kitchen supplies, regularly ordering food, snacks, and beverages to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate office catering when required.
  • Manage conference logistics and prepare meeting spaces with necessary supplies.
  • Organize conference rooms post-meetings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, FDA, biosafety regulations) and maintain related documentation.
