Job description

Office Manager

The Office Manager processes and generates financial data to create a clear report of the accurate financial condition of the business. Responsibilities include submitting financials to lenders, expense review, trend reporting to the GM, and monthly financial reviews. The Office Manager ensures adequate staffing, manages schedules for proper coverage, and oversees the accounting office and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit financial statements
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and incentive collections
  • Review daily DOC reports
  • Train office staff; enforce compliance; approve time and attendance
  • Support expense control initiatives
  • Assist with floorplan audits and reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end audits
  • Conduct monthly physical inventories and used car write-downs
  • Prepare sales tax returns
  • Manage statistical data entries
  • Accurately report people counts for financial statements
  • Post EOM workbooks and CIT chargeback reports
  • Finalize monthly unit counts
  • Attend meetings and coordinate cleaning schedules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Team-player with strong relationship-building skills

  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs
  • Ability to manage and enforce policies
  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required
