Part-Time Accountant – Contemporary Community Solution, LLC

Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid/Remote Possible)

Hours: 15 - 30 hours per week

Pay: $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience)

About Us:

We are a growing home health company dedicated to providing quality care to our patients. We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced accountant to manage our financial processes, including billing, payroll, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  2. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  3. Process payroll and ensure tax compliance
  4. Assist with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance billing
  5. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
  6. Support end-of-year audits and tax preparation
  7. Ensure financial data security and compliance
  8. Maintain physical and digital records of all financial transactions (i.e. receipts and invoices)

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  2. 2+ years of accounting experience (home health or healthcare preferred)
  3. Experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
  4. Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial regulations
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
