Job description

Description

Position Summary: Evergreen Oral Surgery is a well-established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Evergreen, Colorado, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. As our Office Manager, you'll be the core of our practice, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding customer service. You'll manage schedules and oversee administrative tasks, making you essential to a positive experience for both patients and staff.

Requirements
What You'll Own
  • Run front-office operations: scheduling, patient records, and insurance verification.
  • Hire, train, and manage performance for the administrative team; build a positive, high-functioning work environment.
  • Be the face of the practice — greet patients and families and set the tone for a great visit.
  • Oversee billing, coding, and collections; monitor accounts receivable and resolve claim denials and discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial and collections reports and support practice budgeting.
  • Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulations.
  • Act as the liaison between the surgical team, patients, vendors, and insurance carriers.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for office and medical supplies.
  • Contribute to local marketing efforts — social media, email campaigns, and community events.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in an office or practice management role, ideally in oral surgery, dental, or another healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred — equivalent experience welcome.
  • Hands‑on experience with medical/dental billing, coding, and insurance claims.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine, patient‑first attitude.
  • Proficiency with practice management software and MS Office.
  • Comfort handling sensitive patient information with discretion.
Why You'll Like It Here
  • Real autonomy — you’ll run the operational side of the practice, not just support it.
  • Join a doctor‑led practice that values clinical excellence and long‑term investment in its team.
  • 401(k)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company‑paid life insurance
  • Paid time off
Working Conditions
  • On‑site at our Cypress, TX practice.
  • Standard business hours; occasional evenings or weekends based on practice needs.
  • Mix of desk work and time on the floor with staff and patients (approx. 80% sitting / 20% standing).
  • Occasional lifting of office or medical supplies (up to 25 lbs).
