Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Office Manager for our Bend, OR E&L testing center. You will serve as the General Manager’s right hand, overseeing administrative and financial operations in a cGMP-regulated lab.

You’ll manage accounts payable/receivable, prepare management reports, coordinate with vendors and staff, and ensure SOPs and GMP quality systems are followed. Strong organizational skills and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in office management, business administration, accounting, or a related role.
  • Strong accounting skills and hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands without losing accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with judgment and professionalism to interact effectively with employees, leadership, customers, and external partners.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Suite software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams and ERP systems such as D365.
  • Three to six years relevant experience; experience in GMP environment preferred.

  • Anticipate needs, identify opportunities to improve processes, and independently take action to keep the organization running efficiently.
  • Coordinate and communicate with employees, leadership, customers, vendors, and corporate partners, handling sensitive and time-critical matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Follow standard operation procedures (SOP) and work within the laboratory quality system (FDA GMP regulated environment).

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Office Manager at our Extractables & Leachables (E&L) testing Center of Excellence in Bend, OR. The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage the administrative and accounting aspects of a cGMP-regulated testing laboratory under the direction of the General Manager.

  • Highly self-directed and resourceful; able to recognize what needs to be done, take initiative, and follow through with minimal direction.
  • Creative, analytical, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify problems, develop practical solutions, improve processes, and adapt to changing business needs while collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Three to six years relevant experience; experience in GMP environment preferred.
