We're currently seeking a highly motivated Office Engineer located in Long Beach, CA.

Overview

The Office Engineer responsibilities include inspection of design quality standards, materials, equipment, processes, and product. Performs field coordination with emphasis placed upon construction design conformance.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma

Required Qualifications

In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry or similar field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform field coordination work on a project at Denver International Airport including review of construction plans and designs for conformance.
  • Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.
  • Assisting with QA inspections.
  • Reviewing codes, specifications and processes
  • Reviewing QA inspector daily reports.
  • Review and monitor Contractor CCD permits.
  • Assisting with coordination of permit closeout with Contractor and AHJ.
  • Performing daily and/or weekly inspections of the BIM 360 Field Issues.
  • Working with contractor to ensure completion and conformance of BIM 360 Field Issues.
  • Performing daily and/or weekly inspections of AOR/EOR conformance issues.
  • Working with contractor to ensure completion and conformance of AOR/EOR conformance issues.
  • Monitoring specification closeout deliverables (i.e. O&M, Submittals, Attic Stock)

Salary

  • Salary to commensurate based on experience

A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
