Your impact
The Office Engineer will assist with the construction documents, RFIs, change orders, correspondences, and supporting the office and field staff as needed. You will be responsible for regularly coordinating with Office and Field Staff, Project Manager, and Contractor to ensure efficient and effective quality audits.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Update status of submittals and shop drawings electronically on Constructware or other programs.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and perform wide variety of tasks as required
- Coordinate with the Commercial Team to help respond to correspondences
- Able to understand project schedule and urgency in a practical way
- Maintain high standard and comply with procedures (client & Jacobs)
- Monitor the contractor’s safety compliance and work right the first time and inspect work for flaws
- Provide an oversight and records of contractor’s daily activities and be able to track quantities and generate the monthly status report
- Conducts self in an appropriate manner and work effectively in a diverse work environment
- Under the supervision of PM, Provides on-site direction and interpretation to enforce contract documents
- Assists the project manager in coordination with , contractors, property owners, consultants, outside agencies and utility companies on assigned projects

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required
- Post graduate professional experience working on large infrastructure projects is required
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools required, exposure to schedule software preferred
- Preferred experience in ASITE document control
- Registration as an EIT is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
