Director
The Southern University at New Orleans Museum of Art (SUNOMA) serves as a cultural, research, and teaching resource that engages campus and broader community audiences in the study and appreciation of African and African American visual arts and cultural heritage. The Office Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and programmatic support to ensure efficient daily functioning of the museum office and public-facing spaces. Support may include scheduling assistance, document preparation, coordination of shared events or exhibits, and maintaining common office resources, while SUNOMA remains the primary work assignment. This position requires professionalism, discretion, initiative, strong organization skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cultural and academic setting.
This position is 100% funded by the Title III-B, Strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) federal grant.
