Job summary

Baptist Health in Arkansas is seeking an administrative assistant to support outpatient clinics. The role includes scheduling patient visits, admitting patients, and verifying insurance, along with handling clinic operations and petty cash.

You will assist the Clinic Manager, perform clerical tasks, maintain data for Revenue Cycle, and support patient care activities. Strong customer service and data processing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years college preferred.
• Customer service skills are required.
• Very proficient in data processing.
• Insurance knowledge desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits and complete admissions and insurance verification.
• Maintain clinic petty cash and input data related to Revenue Cycle.
• Assist Clinic Manager with programs in Outpatient Satellite Clinics and perform clerical duties.
• Handle routine operations of assigned services and support patient care activities.
• Contribute to improved customer satisfaction and training of new Business managers.

Summary:
Responsible for the scheduling of patient visits and completing the admission and insurance verification and insurance for those patients. Responsible for maintaining the Clinics petty cash and the accurate collection and input of computer data as it relates to the Revenue Cycle. To assist the Clinic Manager in implementing the programs established in the Outpatient Satellite Clinics by performing the tasks related to the routine operation of the services assigned such as clerical duties, departmental maintenance, assistance in patient care and patient related activities. Maintains improved customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities for system operational functions including all BH Rehab OP facilities. Responsible for the training of new Business managers.

Other information:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years college preferred. Customer service skills are required. Very proficient in data processing. Insurance knowledge desired, but not required.

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
