University of Kansas is seeking an Office Coordinator to provide administrative support in a general office environment. You will be the first contact for applicants and visitors, handling phones, mail, scheduling, and a variety of clerical tasks for the MPA administrative office.
The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, high organization, and the ability to work with multiple managers. Prior healthcare experience is a plus; dependable attendance is essential.

Responsible for administrative support in general office responsibilities and clerical duties. The office coordinator is responsible for assigned tasks that are diverse and complex in nature. Is the first contact for applicants, patients and other departmental personnel, both in person and on the phone. Effective communication skills are required due to level of contact with all levels of the organization. Coordinator accepts direction from the Executive Director, Director of Human Resources, Director of Finance, and Billing Manager in the daily operation of the administrative office. Must have the ability to prioritize projects and tasks on a daily basis and demonstrate customer service focused behaviors.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Six months to one year related experience
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, emphasis on Word, Excel and Power Point.
High organizational skills with the ability to prioritize. High interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to relate will with others in the execution of duties and the ability to communicate effectively. Team player, self starter, and ability to accept direction from multiple managers. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Good track record for implementing activities and bringing them to closure.
