San Mateo Transitions, part of the Telecare Family, operates an Assertive Community Treatment program serving 180 individuals, including special populations such as residents in residential services, older adults, and criminal justice clients.

Position Details

Full Time; Days 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday

Starting wage range is $26.31 - $31.72, based on geographic location and relevant experience. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.

Position Summary

The Office Coordinator I supports business operations through administrative and financial tasks.

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrate Telecare's mission, values, and beliefs in interactions with stakeholders.
  • Perform finance-related duties such as facilitating Rep Payee and Trust Banking services, payroll preparation, entering AP batches, monitoring client eligibility, billing, and managing cash receipts.
  • Handle medical records by preparing charts, ordering forms, and safeguarding confidential information.
  • Assist Human Resources by maintaining personnel files, scheduling interviews, tracking documentation, and coordinating safety and incident reports.
  • Support Information Technology by liaising with IT for hardware and software maintenance and providing basic support to staff.
  • Assist program/department activities including staff scheduling, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, and supporting leadership with projects.
Qualifications

Required: High School diploma or GED, 1 year of administrative experience, proficiency in MS Office, data entry experience, minimum age 18, valid driver’s license, and successful completion of required background checks and health screenings.

Preferred: 2 years of administrative experience, healthcare experience.

Skills and Physical Demands

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and driving. Visual and manual dexterity required.
