Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks an organized administrative professional to support daily office operations and assist leadership in guiding staff to the right resources. The role emphasizes reliability, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced health care setting.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience in home health or related administrative work. In-office attendance is essential to achieve Enhabit objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic technology skills including use of a mobile device.
• Must hold a valid state driver license in the state of residence.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Experience in a home health or hospice setting or office administration is highly preferred.
• Experience with medical records in a health care office is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) is expected.
• In-office attendance is essential unless the position is designated remote.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting all office operations to ensure tasks are performed timely and accurately. Assists leadership to ensure employees are supported and guided to the correct resources or personnel. Serves in and supports any role as needed to contribute to daily office operations.

Qualifications

• Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred to have Associate's Degree or higher.
• Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law
• Highly preferred minimum one year experience working in a home health or hospice setting involving medical records scheduling, or office administration/human resources.
• Preferred minimum of six months’ experience in medical records in a health care office.
• Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
