Assists with clerical aspects of discharged patient record audits, notifying and following up with clinical staff as directed. Faxes medication interactions, discharge summaries, and lab reports to physician offices. Responds to batch verification report issues to ensure timely claim drops. Prepares and tracks records for Additional Documentation Request (ADR) responses under the supervision of the director. Records agency invoices in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned Answers telephone calls professionally, takes messages, and directs calls to appropriate staff members. Processes and tracks interim orders, Plans of Care (POCs), and Face-to-Face (F2F) documents, logging them in the system when faxed and received back signed from physicians. Receives and checks in patient consents for care, notifying and following up with clinical staff as directed. Scans and attaches paper documents into the system to maintain clinical records. Establishes, coordinates, and maintains office procedures, and manages office equipment as directed. Reviews OASIS transmission reports and notifies the director of rejected OASIS for correction. Demonstrates proactive responsibility for accounts receivable aging and other billing issues. Assists with other operational and departmental projects as assigned by the director.
