A leading company in responsible seafood processing is seeking an Office Clerk to support manufacturing operations in Alaska. The role involves administrative tasks, communication with staff and vendors, and adherence to safety policies. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in office settings, along with strong customer service skills.

The Office Clerk performs a variety of administrative functions in the Alaska plant office in the support of manufacturing operations.

Special Training/Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move 10 to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception.
