Typical Schedule

• Monday through Friday evenings
• 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm (start time is flexible after 3:30 pm)

Benefits

Hourly base salary based on experience. Mon-Fri schedule.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc.
• Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
• Wash and spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily, following standard procedures.
• Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and place trash in designated collection areas.

Requirements

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail, pride in service, organization, energy, and endurance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English reading, interpretation, and speaking.
• Ability to follow schedules, keep commitments, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Pass a background check, including criminal history.
