Job Description

POSITION: Clerk, Office/Attendance

EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt

NUMBER OF DAYS: According to district approved calendar

DEPARTMENT: Assigned Campus

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES: None

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience preferred
Position Function/Purpose

The office clerk shall carry out all office related activities as assigned by the building principal.

Essential Functions
  • 1. Basic typing
  • 2. Alphabetize and file
  • 3. Good telephone skills with the public
  • 4. Work in a cooperative manner with coworkers and teachers
  • 5. Maintain accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
  • 6. Prepare accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
  • 7. Check and verify student absences
  • 8. Keep all attendance information, verify and complete each year
  • 9. Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • 10. Cross train with secretary
Qualification Requirements
