Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an Office Assistant for our outpatient clinic. You will greet patients, check them in/out, answer calls, direct them to the proper departments, and maintain a tidy waiting area.

Four 10-hour shifts per week (Mon-Thu) are offered. Competitive base pay with productivity and performance bonuses, plus benefits including medical, vision, dental, and a 401(k) with up to 4% match, plus PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, outpatient clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Accept inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms; coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
• Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and HIPAA in all administrative activities.

We provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits through a secure online telehealth platform. Our services include Psychiatric/Psychological Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy & Counseling, and Neuropsychological Testing Services. Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists.
