An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Office and Volunteer Manager to enhance pediatric programs through effective administrative support and community engagement. The Pediatric Office and Volunteer Manager works under the Executive Director, Children’s Programs, to support pediatric staff with administrative tasks, event planning, fundraising, and program implementation related to hospice, palliative care, and bereavement support across Capital Caring Health service areas. This team member collaborates closely with the Director, Community and Volunteer Engagement, to support pediatric volunteer initiatives and other pediatric team members, such as the pediatric nurse clinical supervisor.
Location: Falls Church, VA
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
COVID-19 vaccine required to be completed upon start.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The Office and Volunteer Manager, Capital Caring Kids, will oversee administrative interns and volunteers.
Experience Requirements
2-5 years of experience in administrative or office management roles, with prior experience in community event planning and fundraising. Experience and knowledge related to death, dying, grief, and loss are preferred.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
