What You Will Do:

The Office Manager will work cooperatively with all staff to facilitate the general flow of work in the office and program, including reception, clerical duties, and administrative projects.

They will provide administrative support to the State Director, communicating, coordinating, and ensuring consistency across multiple area offices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of an office site
  • Executing statewide communication with executives
  • Coordinating and managing multiple projects
  • Participating in the development of state procedures and resource investigation
  • Ensuring office functions are conducted efficiently and accurately
  • Overseeing the use of office equipment and supplies
  • Maintaining office records and files
  • Assisting program managers and directors with administrative tasks
  • Acting as the Local Help Desk contact for Directors, Program Managers, and state personnel, fielding IT-related questions

Work Environment and Office Hours:

This position is fully onsite at the Dungarvin Milwaukee office. It is a full-time, exempt role, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Minimal overnight travel (approximately twice per year) may be required. Schedule flexibility is necessary to meet deadlines.

Driving Requirement:

This is a limited driving position, requiring driving a motor vehicle as part of work duties, but it does not involve driving Dungarvin-owned or leased vehicles or transporting persons served.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of related administrative experience (office experience preferred)
  • Experience supporting managers or directors
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Reliable vehicle with current auto liability insurance
