Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Recordkeeping

Enter and update financial transactions into accounting software (i.e.SAP)
Maintain organized digital and physical files for receipts, invoices, and other financial documents
Assist with coding transactions to the correct programs, funds, or grants


2. Accounts Payable/Receivable Support

Prepare and process check requests, expense reimbursements, and vendor payments
Assist in generating and tracking invoices for donations, grants, or service income
Record donations and other income, ensuring proper documentation
Help follow up on outstanding receivables and reconcile incoming payments


3. Reconciliations and Reporting

Support monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist in preparing financial reports, journal entries, and spreadsheets as needed
Cross-check financial data for accuracy and completeness


4. Audit & Compliance Assistance

Support preparation of audit documentation
Help track restricted and unrestricted funds, grant expenditures, and event-related income
Maintain proper documentation and other reporting purposes


5. Other Administrative Duties

Respond to finance-related inquiries and support staff with financial forms or procedures
Assist in petty cash management
Collect, review, and follow up on employee reimbursement forms
Assist with mailing checks, donation receipts, and other financial communications
Prepare and label folders for new fiscal years, programs, or events

Agreement with the organization’s Statement of Faith, vision, and mission
A committed Christian with a clear and strong calling to serve in ministry
Bilingual in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
