Job summary

Cryptic Vector is seeking an Offensive Cyber Engineer to dive into reverse engineering and vulnerability research on software and firmware. You will transform binaries into actionable intelligence and build exploits that perform under real-world pressure.

Responsibilities include RE/VR work, post-exploitation development, and scripting in C, Assembly, Python to automate processes. Strong problem-solving and hardware interfacing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C, Assembly, and Python.
• Extensive experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, and Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineering of software/firmware to understand structure and behavior.
• Deconstruct and analyze software/firmware to reveal vulnerabilities and exploitable flaws.
• Design/develop post-exploitation effects in software/firmware that withstand scrutiny.
