Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland, AL is seeking an entry-level Offbearer moulder to support the production line. You will learn to read build tickets, handle components, and assist with machining quality checks while following safety guidelines.

You will work with various wood types (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Hickory, MDF) and need good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided.

• Comply with all safety and health regulations and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Learn a variety of wood types (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Hickory, MDF, Koto, Plywood, Particleboard).
• Handle and stack components to support the build process of the final product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proper lifting and stacking techniques.
• Stacking and handling a variety of components to support the build process of the final product.
• Ability to interpret basic paperwork, build tickets, etc.
• Perform quality checks throughout machining process to ensure parts are correct for customer satisfaction.
• Daily reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Maintain Housekeeping procedures daily in the work area.
• Learn a variety of wood types depending on the department (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Hickory, MDF, Koto, Plywood, Particleboard, etc.)
