Job summary

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. in Ashland, CA is seeking a Machine Tech Trainer to join our maintenance team.

You will inspect equipment and perform repairs or preventative maintenance, reading blueprints and repair manuals, and using hand and power tools to keep machinery running smoothly. The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance, can troubleshoot electrical motor controls, pneumatics and hydraulics, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including some evenings

Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are hiring a maintenance employee to join our team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role, you should have experience in maintenance, be skilled with various hand and power tools, able to read blueprints, repair manuals, and tape measure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ELECTRICIAN LEVEL 2

• Level 1 Skills
• Ability to troubleshoot single phase and 3 phase motor controls, switches, relays, contactors, overloads, fuses, photo eyes, timers, etc.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Work well with others.
• 2 years of schooling or 3 years of experience.

Maintenance Level 2

• Repairing Pneumatice and hydraulic systems
• ability to use precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• replacing and repairing electric motors and gearboxes
• ability to use a multi meter . ( Volts, Ohms, Amps)
• Minor welding using a stick and wire welder.
• ablity to operate a cutting torch
• ability to repair damaged threads on bolts or threaded holes
• ability to remove broken bolts
• 3 years of experience.

• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Ability to start up and shut down machine.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
