General Description:

As an Off-The-Road (OTR) Service Technician, you will work at a Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center, responsible for all aspects of tire service and repair for off-the-road equipment such as construction, earthmoving, mining, and farming machinery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Dismounting and mounting any type of off-the-road tire, including multi-piece rims.
2. Assessing tire conditions and performing repairs when possible.
3. Mounting and inflating tires to prescribed PSI based on load requirements.
4. Operating heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools, including boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, electric, and hydraulic equipment.
5. Completing service tickets and related paperwork accurately.
6. Adhering to OSHA and MSHA safety regulations and requirements.
7. Following all safety guidelines, including using protective equipment.
8. Providing excellent service to meet location and customer service goals.
9. Maintaining the assigned service vehicle and equipment.
10. Performing other duties as assigned by management.
11. Performing manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements:

• Relevant experience in OTR commercial tire service.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicle type required.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• No relocation offered for this position.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OTR service training and certifications.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a 30,000 lbs. GVW OTR Service Boom Truck.
