Job description

We are looking for a motivated individual to add to our off shift shipping team. The position would entail loading and unloading trucks with forklifts or cranes. Organize the shipping area via truck loads or customer orders and priority. Safely operate equipment to keep your self and coworkers safe as well as safely handle aluminum extrusions up to 55 foot in length. 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am M-F with Saturdays depending on production.

Other requirements:

  • Transport all supplies and/or finished materials throughout departments
  • Load and unloads trailers with raw and finished materials
  • Transport scrap material to scrap saw and/or chip collection area
  • Scan, count, and record number of bundles of material loaded onto trucks
  • Relocate materials from storage or work sites to designated area
  • Load trailers with finished material for shipment
  • Balance weight of material to comply with all DOT shipping regulations
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and or Safety.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Salary: $20/hr $2 shift differential and $2 attendance bonus eligibility
