Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is looking for an individual to operate waterjet equipment in Whitehall Township, MI. Responsibilities include performing tensile, stress, creep, and hardness testing in a lab environment. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of post-high school work experience or 6 months manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operation of waterjet equipment for mechanical test and metallography sample sectioning.
• Performing tensile, stress, creep, and hardness testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent analytical skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
